                                        New MacPac for PalmPilot

Recently 3Com released PalmIII, third generation Pilot. The PalmIII can holds all info about contacts, appointments, memos, e-mail, and miscellaneous scrawlings. With the optional modem, one can send and receive e-mail and even surf the Web. The PalmPilot's best feature is the ability to instantly synchronize data between your home and office computer. In fact, it's easier to input data to your desktop and transfer it to the PalmPilot with a push of a button. It supports Lotus Notes and desktop organizers. 3Com also intends to make the PalmIII double as a pager, a feature already available in earlier PalmPilot models. Later this summer 3Com plans to release a new MacPac system to improve connections between the PalmPilots and Macs as well as a version of Claris Organizer software. 3Com bought Claris Organizer from Apple last year. The program integrates calendar, contacts, tasks, notes, and intelligent features such as drag-and-drop scheduling, custom views, and printing options in one application.
