The SE440BX-2 motherboard features the Intel 440BX AGPset which supports a 100-MHz system bus, improving the bandwidth between the PentiumŪ III and Pentium II processor, Accelerated Graphics Port, 100-MHz SDRAM, and PCI bus. The result is significantly enhanced media and graphics performance. Home PC users will enjoy improved texture rendering in 3D software, including games, entertainment, educational and digital-imaging applications. Moreover, the SE440BX-2 motherboard is designed to meet the demanding needs of multiple end-users. The board features an on-board hardware management ASIC, Wake on LAN* header, and Intel's LANDeskŪ Virus Protect software to lower the total cost of ownership. The SE440BX-2 motherboard also offers optional integrated Yamaha* PCI audio for an exceptional AC'97 audio subsystem.
