Creative-E-Biz is now the
authorized distributor for O2 range of high-end PDA phones in India.
The company is looking for channel partners in metros and Class A
cities.
?O2 is a renowned brand in mobile phone industry for
high-end PDA phones. We will provide it in rupee billing along with
the required warranty support. The cost of the O2 XDA II model is
approximately Rs 40,000,? said Deepak Sharma, manager,
Creative-E-Biz.
The Pocket PC is based on Window?s technology
and has a built-in camera, video recording, email, SMS, WAP, and
windows media player. The O2 XDAII also supports Bluetooth. It
features an Intel 400MHz CPU processor and 128 MB RAM. The device
offers all the benefits of Microsoft Pocket PC 2003, including
suitably adapted versions of Outlook, Excel, Word, and Internet
Explorer. Users can use these applications at the same time as the
phone functionality. Among other features are a touch-sensitive
screen with 4096 color illuminated display and GPRS, which is the
new Mobile Internet offering typically 2 to 3 times faster access
than normal Mobile Internet and an "always on" connection where you
only pay for information sent and received
?To start with, we
will appoint four sub-distributors in Delhi. In the second phase we
will cover Class B & C cities,? Sharma said.
The company
expects to sell 25,000 phones a year.
