HP to extend IT Service Management Capabilities
HP has acquired the businesses of two IT service management training and consulting companies:

Dallas-based IT Infrastructure Management LLC, doing business as ManageOne, and UK-based CEC Europe Service Management Ltd. The businesses of ManageOne and CEC Europe Service will operate as part of the customer support unit of HP Services. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. Based on a holistic approach to managing IT via people, process and technology, HP Services' ITSM capabilities provide a clear model to allow enterprise customers to respond rapidly to, and drive, change within their businesses.

'Next Generation' HP Officejet 4255
 The new HP OJ 4255, from the house of HP is armed with printer, fax, scanner and copier and phone functionalities.

Priced at Rs. 9,999 this ultra compact all-in-one (AIO) with well integrated multifunction capabilities is a steal for any customer. OJ 4255 is the only entry level AIO today, which integrates phone and versatile fax features to serve as a powerful communication centre at the desktop. It comes with a 33.6 built in modem offering up to 3 sec. per page fax transmission. Virtusa to set up centre in Chennai
The US-based Virtusa Inc., a software development and IT related services
company is setting up its second Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in Chennai. The new centre, to come up in a 1,20,000 lakh sq. ft. area space, will have a total seating capacity of 1500 professionals.The centre would be developed in three phases over a two-and-a-half year period. The company will be investing close to $12 million in its Chennai operations during the next 12 months. The investment will go towards strengthening Virtusa's infrastructure and collaboration capabilities in Chennai.
